We believe financial knowledge belongs to everyone, regardless of age or educational background.
We exist because the financial system was not built with older adults in mind.
Ecuador's older adult population includes many people who spent their working lives in agriculture, domestic work, small commerce, or informal employment. These are dignified, experienced lives. But they are also lives that rarely included exposure to formal financial concepts.
When retirement arrives, the financial landscape shifts dramatically. A pension becomes the primary income. Family members abroad send remittances. Small savings need to last longer than expected. And unfortunately, this is also the moment when deceptive financial offers tend to appear most frequently.
Trust Wealth Base was built to serve this exact moment. Not with complex products or investment advice, but with clear, practical knowledge that helps people understand what they already have and how to protect it.
We don't use the word "elderly." We don't design programs that feel like remedial courses. Our participants are adults with full lives, complex family situations, and real financial responsibilities. The tone of everything we create reflects that.
Our content is developed with input from people who have lived the situations we describe. We test our materials with real participants before they become part of any program. If something doesn't land clearly, we revise it until it does.
We also recognize that learning happens at different speeds for different people. There is no pressure to complete anything on a particular timeline. The goal is understanding, not speed.
We're happy to explain how our programs work and whether they might be a good fit for you or someone you care about.
